Keto Recipe (Low Carb): Ham & Cheese Calzone

This Ham & Cheese Calzone is amazing! My niece & nephews who love hot pockets and eat them almost every meal, every day, say that this is WAY better! Kid Approved!

This could easily be adapted to use different meats & cheeses. You could also add in some veggies (if you’re into that…). I am going to try this again with a little pizza sauce, ground beef, and pepperonis for an Italian calzone/pizza pocket.

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups mozzarella cheese
3/4 cups almond flour
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 egg
4 slices ham
4 slices cheese
2 tbsp mayo

Instructions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 425
2. Add cheese to bowl
3. Add almond flour
4. Add cream cheese
5. Microwave for 1 minute
6. Mix
7. Microwave for 30 seconds
8. Mix
9. Add egg
10. Mix in egg with hands
11. Spread mixture on pan with parchment paper
12. Place ham and cheese on the dough
13. Spread mayo on dough and ham/cheese
14. Fold dough over ham/cheese
15. Press edges together to make into a pocket
16. Cook for 7 minutes
17. Remove from oven and flip the pocket over
18. Cook for another 8 minutes
19. Remove from oven
20. Let sit for 10 minutes
21. Cut into pieces
22. Enjoy!
